Food Lion cashier may face charges
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating the alleged embezzlement by a Food Lion employee in Pikeville. The cashier is believed to have embezzled more than $13,000 from the grocery store over an unknown span of time. The suspect has admitted to skimming cash from the drawer, according to a report.
