Marco Ortega of Powers Great American Midways cleans a carousel horse as he prepares the ride for the 62nd annual Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair that begins Thursday. This year's fair will feature 48 rides, 35 food vendors and 35 games to play. Gates open at 4 p.m. Rainy weather could put a damper on the opening, but fair officials said they hope skies will clear by the weekend. The fair will run through Oct. 9.
