Goldsboro-based AAR Corp. has been identified as one of several North Carolina companies that could benefit should EADS North America win the bidding war to build the Air Force's newest tanker, the KC-45.

EADS North America officials will be at ARR's 500 Gateway Drive location Thursday at 10 a.m. for an employee rally announcing the work on the $35 billion Air Force bid. Representatives of the Wayne County Develop-ment Alliance and the state's congressional delegation will be on hand as well.
