Andrew Lockerby, a Life Scout in Troop 8, finishes putting on his Class A uniform to prepare for family night at Camp Tuscarora in Four Oaks. Each week Camp Tuscarora welcomes more than 200 Scouts to its 11 campsites to have fun and earn merit badges on its 1,200 acres of pristine wilderness. Merit badges that can be earned by Scouts range from rifle shooting to leather working. Lockerby is one of the 40 members of the Tuscarora Council that will be going to the Boy Scouts National Jamboree in Fort A.P. Hill. More than 43,000 Scouts will attend this year's Jamboree, which marks the 100th year of American Scouting. The Jamboree is July 26 through Aug. 4.
