Fans available to seniors

Wayne County Services on Aging has received funding from Progress Energy and the Eastern Carolina Council Area Agency on Aging to purchase fans for Wayne County Senior Citizens. Fans will be distributed to persons aged 60 or older or under 60 with a disability who reside in Wayne County and have a home situation where extended high temperatures may threaten the person's health and well being.
