Professional caterer and cooking instructor Patricia Artis welcomes people to "The Art of Cooking" course offered by Wayne Community College Continuing Education community services program. The course will focus on American cuisine and will teach people how to prepare a five-course meal. Spaces in the class and the other classes offered by Wayne Community College Continuing Education community services program are still available. The courses in the community services program cost $35 for six classes. The courses offered are jewelry making, small gasoline engine repair, Bob Ross painting, upholstery class and Zumba fitness. Larry John, director occupation extension and community services program, said, "The courses are to help improve the quality of life in the community." Cooking classes will take place on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. in Walnut Room 104. Cooking will begin at the next class on Tuesday.
