Local legislative briefing to be held

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a legislative briefing featuring on Friday, May 21, at the Goldsboro Country Club from 8-10 a.m.
State senators Don Davis and David Rouzer and state House of Representatives Larry Bell, Van Braxton and Efton Sager will be present to update attendees on legislative issues.
The public is invited to meet their local delegation and enjoy a traditional southern breakfast buffet. Cost for the event is $15 per person. Residents are encouraged to submit questions prior to the event regarding topics affecting our community.
The deadline to submit questions is Monday.
