More than 250 dogs participated in this year's Albertson Fox Hunt, up nearly 100 from last year. All total, more than 2,000 people attended the annual event in Albertson, which begins at
5 a.m. and lasts until about noon. And for many people, the barbecue and fish stew lunch is the highlight. Organizers said they cooked up seven pigs, five crates of chicken and 45 gallons of fish stew this year. Traditionally the event raises about $10,000, which is split between the Ruritan Club, the Albertson Fire Department and the Albertson Recreation Center.
