Hit and run accident
Goldsboro police said John Murchison of West New Hope Road suffered visible injury on Wednesday after being sideswiped on his bicycle by a gray minivan driven by an unknown driver. Both Murchison and the vehicle were headed east on New Hope Road when the car attempted to pass Murchison, police said. Police are seeking the public's help with the accident and ask citizens to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 735-2211.
