GREENVILLE -- The End-of-Life Care Coalition of Eastern Carolina is sponsoring a free advance care planning clinic at Pitt County Memorial Hospital on Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 pm.

The clinic begins at 10 a.m. with a short educational program on advance care planning. Trained facilitators and notaries will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help people complete living wills and health care powers of attorney.

All activities will be held in the Pine and Elm rooms at the back of the PCMH cafeteria and are free of charge. Educational materials and notaries will be available to those attending.

This event is open to all members of the community. Registration is not necessary. If you intend to complete a living will or health care power of attorney document on this day, please bring a form of personal identification with you.

The End-of-Life Care Coalition of Eastern Carolina is a not-for-profit organization committed to educating the community about advance care planning and promoting opportunities for appropriate and compassionate care at the end of life for all people.

This program is funded with generous grant support from the Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation.
