The Wayne Occupational Readiness Keys for Success (WORKS) program will offer four opportunities in October for the public to take the WorkKeys(r) tests for Career Readiness Certification.

Testing sessions are set for 8:30 a.m. to noon on Oct. 15, 1-4:30 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 21, and 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 26. All will be held on Wayne Community College's main campus in Goldsboro.

Cost to take the set of three skill assessment tests (applied mathematics, locating information, and reading for information) is $30. Assistance to cover the cost might be available for some test takers.

Call 739-7004 to register.

Individuals may earn Bronze, Silver or Gold CRCs based on their performance on the tests. The CRC is recognized by employers across the state as a proven measurement of job skills.
