The Friends of the Wayne County Public Library will hold its annual Fall Book Sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 9-11 in the Gertrude Weil Auditorium at the main library at 1001 E. Ash St.

There will be a special preview Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for members of the Friends of the Library only.

Friends memberships will be sold at the door that evening ($10 for individuals and $15 for family memberships) and are available for purchase at the library at other times.

Regular sale hours will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Thousands of books are available for sale at very reasonable prices. Tote bags are also for sale -- a good way to bring book purchases home.

It's not too late to donate books for the sale. When donating, note that the Friends do not accept encyclopedias, Reader's Digest condensed books, National Geographic magazines, text books or damaged books.

The Friends of Wayne County Public Library is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the programs and services at the libraries.
