Shooting suspect apprehended

Goldsboro police reported late Friday that a suspect in a Saturday shooting at the Economy Inn in Goldsboro had been apprehended, Investigator Doug Bethea reported.
Tavaris L. Lane is charged in the shooting of Marlow Eugene Holmes, 34, of North Carolina Street. The shooting victim was still listed in critical condition at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro Police Sgt. Chad Calloway said.
