Raising money for MDA

Mount Olive Police Chief Ralph Schroeder, former N.C. Rep. Louis Pate and Susan Kelly work the phones during a "lockup" to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association at the Country Inn and Suites in Goldsboro on Thursday. Money raised goes to provide local services, clinic visits, wheelchair and leg brace assistance and even summer camps for children with any of the 43 neuromuscular diseases that MDA covers.
