An allegedly intoxicated driver hit two other cars with his vehicle this morning, reportedly sending two drivers to Wayne Memorial Hospital for evaluation, authorities said.
Goldsboro police Capt. Grayham Keesler said a report identifying the drivers of the vehicles was not available this morning.
"He (the driver) wound up hitting two different cars at two different locations," the captain said. "There were two different officers working on those two different wrecks."
Officers Tom Cook and Pat Carcierri were working on the case, the captain said.
"The (suspect) should be on his way to the magistrate's office," the captain said.
The captain said that all three vehicles were expected to be towed after the accident.
Keesler said he did not know the extent of any injuries sustained in the wrecks.
