Equipment theft
At Best Sand and Gravel on Slocumb Street, Samuel Lane reported the theft of $9,750 worth of equipment. According to a witness, five black subjects had been seen around the gate earlier in the morning.
Breaking and entering
Alejandra Sanchez of East Maple Street reported a residential break-in and larceny, where items were found thrown around the premises and over $2,500 worth of jewelry were taken.
Shoplifting
Natasha Cannon of City Trends reported a store theft on Friday. As three black females left the store, a security alarm went off and Ms. Cannon called out but the females fled. A price tag for a $24.99 dress was discovered on the floor of the store.
Vandalism
Robert Parker at PACC-10 10 on E. Ash Street, reported four windows had been found broken at the business.
