Wayne County officials will be performing maintenance and upgrades to its telecommunications and computer network on Saturday. As a result, the Internet, phone system, and library catalog at the main branch of the Wayne County Public Library on Ash Street will not be working in the morning.

The library will be open all day as it is expected that the network will be operating again by the early afternoon.

Library users will not be able to call the library for information while the network is down and will not be able to renew materials. The main branch of the library has a wireless network that will still work so computer users will be able to use their own laptops or wireless devices all day.

Branch libraries will also lose access to the phones and the catalog, but Internet access should still remain available.
