The Internal Revenue Service is reminding late filers to not ignore the deadline, just file an extension. People mailing their returns have until 5 p.m. today to have them postmarked today. Those filing online have until midnight. The IRS expects to receive more than 20 million tax returns this week. The agency had received about 102 million as of the end of last week.
