Thieves cut through wall, safe
Brian Norton of the Ruby Tuesday restaurant on North Park Drive reported Monday morning that someone had cut through a wall and safe, taking an undetermined amount of money from the restaurant, according to a police report. The burglars removed a lock from an outside gate to gain entry, then knocked down a security camera outside the building, the report shows.
School laptop reported stolen
Dillard Middle School Principal Sylvester Townsend told police that someone took a Dell laptop computer from the principal's office sometime over the weekend, according to a police report.
