A murder suspect was returned to Goldsboro from Florida yesterday afternoon, police said.

Anthony Dwayne Jackson, of North Leslie Street, is wanted in connection with the shooting of Barbara Bandy.

Jackson was in Wayne County Jail as of about 2 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities said.

Ms. Bandy died about two days after being shot on Feb. 24, while sitting in a car outside her Leslie Street home.

A police report showed that the men fired shots through the windshield and a front passenger window, mortally wounding Ms. Bandy.

Ms. Bandy died on Feb. 26, police said.

Another suspect, John Oscar Mumford, is still wanted in connection with the shooting death.

Mumford's last known address was on Whitted Court, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about Mum-ford's whereabouts to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 735-2255.

You may also use the new Crime Stoppers "texting" line, allowing witnesses to send short lines of text to 273-6585, police said.
