Wayne County's economic forecast will be the topic of a Tuesday morning panel discussion sponsored by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce.

The discussion, part of the Chamber's new State of the Community series, will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. in the second-floor council chamber of the historic Goldsboro City Hall.

Panelists include Joanna Thompson, president of the Wayne County Economic Development Alliance; Dr. Kenneth Stokes, dean of the Tillman School of Business at Mount Olive College; and Al Delia, president/CEO of the North Carolina's Eastern Region.

A question-and-answer session will follow the panel discussion. Coffee and doughnuts will be served.

The State of the Community program is a series of panel presentations. Chamber officials said the program goal is to provide citizens with a glimpse of a variety of topics such as economic development, community de-velopment, business recruitment and job creation, educational partnerships and initiatives, healthcare and other quality-of-life issues.

Registration is $10 per person.
