Thefts
*Tasha Whitley of Dixie Trail reported to Goldsboro police the theft of a $10,000 mini van from Bob's #2 on S. Slocumb Street on Saturday evening. She reportedly left the vehicle running and unsecured while she went inside the business and upon her return, it was gone.
*Andrea Staton of Courtyard Circle told police she paid a Hickory Circle man to fix a yellow scooter and while it was in his possession, someone took it from the yard. The scooter, valued at $899, had the key in it at the time.
*Philip Howard, representing Dollar General on N. Spence Avenue, reported $4,477 taken from the business between Aug. 24-29, when a worker reportedly failed to make bank deposits.
