Honda and Hyundai of Goldsboro have teamed with TruTV to offer free digital fingerprinting for children in the Goldsboro and the surrounding area in an effort to help keep kids safe.
The event will be Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Honda of Goldsboro, 1309 W. Grantham St., Goldsboro.
Each child will receive an 8-by-11-inch printout with photo, fingerprints and places for personal information such as height, weight and hair color. The first 300 children to attend the event will receive a free DNA kit. Please note this is not appropriate for children under the age of 2.
"When we found out this was available, we jumped at the chance to offer this to the community," said Jason Fennell, general manager of Honda and Hyundai of Goldsboro. "The process is quick, clean and fun. We want to give families a way to feel secure about their children's safety."
Honda and Hyundai of Goldsboro are part of Darrow Automotive, a holding company for 13 dealership locations in Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia representing 10 automotive franchises.
