Part of I-40 reopened

A section of I-40 West at Exit 355 (N.C. 403) just west of Faison has reopened after emergency repairs were made where a truck hit the bridge span. Further repairs are expected later this summer.
N.C. 403 opened to traffic Thursday evening. Both southbound lanes of N.C. 403 will be open to traffic, along with one northbound lane. The other lane of N.C. 403 North will remain closed.
