Conservation post filing starts June 9

The filing period for candidates for Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors for the November 4 general election will begin at noon June 9 at the Wayne County Board of Elections office.
The filing period closes at noon on July 7. The deadline to file a petition to become an unaffiliated candidate for the election is June 27.
One-stop early voting will begin on Thursday, June 5, at the Wayne County Board of Elections office in the old commissioners room at 209 S. William St. Voting hours will be from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
