Soil and Water Board filing deadline July 7

The filing period for candidates for Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors for the November 4 general election will begin at noon June 9 at the Wayne County Board of Elections office.
The filing period closes at noon on July 7.
Deadline to file a petition to become an unaffiliated candidate for the November 4, 2008, General Election is Friday, June 27, 2008.
One-stop early voting will begin on Thursday, June 5 at the Wayne County Board of Elections office at 209 South William St. Voting hours will be from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
