Break-in arrest

A Goldsboro police investigator reported a Snow Hill man was responsible for a May break-in at a residence in the 500 block of A Street, Goldsboro. William Ray Johnson Jr., 42, Crestwood Drive, is charged with felonious breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods and obtaining property by false pretenses, and was jailed under $10,000 bond, police said.

Identity fraud

Geraldine Sugg of U.S. 70 West reported that someone took her financial transaction card and rang up $12,496 in charges, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.

Thefts

*A 1985 white Chevy Camaro worth $3,000 and $1,500 of assorted audio equipment were reported stolen at a Spring Branch Road residence belonging to Edwin Smith and Tarnah Syeh, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.

*David Doudney of LJR Lane, reported a female Rottweiler and goods worth about $1,000, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.

*Tools worth about $5,000 were reported stolen from an A.G. Woodard construction site on Old Cornwallis Road, Princeton, according to a Sheriff's Office report.
