Because of the arrival of President Bill Clinton at Eastern Wayne High School, Saturday, the Wayne County Department of Animal Control has changed the location of its annual rabies vaccination clinic.
The new location will be Eastern Wayne Elementary School.
The hours will remain the same -- 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Pet owners may bring their dogs and cats to the clinic and receive a vaccination for $5 each. Rabies vaccinations will be given as a three-year vaccination only after the owner has shown proof that the animals have received rabies vaccinations prior to the clinic.
For more information contact animal control at 731-1439.
Clinton will be at Eastern Wayne High School at 1:15 p.m., Saturday as he campaigns on behalf of his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton as she runs for the Democratic presidential nomination.
