Suicide awareness and memorial service planned

A memorial and suicide awareness service will be held Sunday for former Spring Creek High School student, 16-year-old Nathan Lynn Ford, who died on April 13, 2007.
A sophomore, Ford was an honor student and played on the varsity football and golf teams. He also was a fisherman and hunter, and was active in his church at Oak Forest Church of Christ in Goldsboro, where the service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday.
A balloon release is planned in his memory.
