Target surveillance leads to arrests
Employees with Target's loss prevention department saw two white males break into an employee's vehicle in the parking lot, Goldsboro police said. Police detained and charged Jeffrey Dale Holzhauer, 23, Goldsboro and Josh Sharif, 18, Woodshire Road, with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, according to reports. Holzhauer also had two driving-related warrants.
Man runs with money
Gaynelle Bolling of East Holly Street said she found a stranger inside her home Monday night. According to the police report, the man told Mrs. Bolling he was there to rake her yard, then walked out of the residence, got on a bicycle and rode off. Mrs. Bolling said she followed the man, but couldn't catch him. After returning to her home, she found a change box missing with an unknown amount of money missing, police said. The suspect is described as a white male, about 40, 5 feet 8 inches tall.
Business, truck shot into
Jimmy Ward of Ready Mix Concrete Co. reported that someone shot an office window and a company truck with a firearm of unknown type, causing $900 in damages, police said.
