Annual Shrine Club Fish Fry to be held Friday

The Wayne County Shrine Club's annual Fish Fry will be held Friday, with food served at Herman Park and at Roberts Machine Shop in Mount Olive.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Plates are $6 each.
All proceeds go to support Shrine Club activities.
In more than two decades of holding the event, local Shriners have raised more than $250,000 -- all of which has gone to charities.
The Shriners are the chief support for their children's hospitals. There are 22 across the nation.
Meals at Roberts Machine Shop are all take-out. At Herman Park, diners can either eat in at the Herman Park Center or pick up their meal at the drive-through. People picking up meals in the drive-through should enter from the Jackson Street side.
