ROSE HILL -- Local writers are invited to participate in the Duplin County Friends of the Library's Fifth annual rublic reading on Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in the Rose Hill Library.

The public reading allows local writers in the area to come together and share their work with the community. Library officials say the event is also a great way to connect with other writers in the area and to gather tips from other writers that may help you with your own work.

The reading will include stories, poems and other written works. To pre-register, call the Rose Hill Library at (910) 289-2490 from 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
