Habitat for Humanity is looking for organizations or individuals willing to help feed college students coming to help build a house in Wayne County during the weeks of March 10 and March 17.
Habitat officials say college students from all over the country seek out ways to make their spring break rewarding, and this year, students from four colleges are coming. These students, from Boston College, Ohio Wesleyan, Cornell and Goucher College, will be needing lunch each day and Habitat volunteers are asking that local cooks help feed the young people while they work.
Organizations interested in providing lunch to a group of 20 can contact the Habitat office at 736-9592 or visit the Web site www.habitatgoldsboro.org.
Habitat was organized in November 2001 andhas partnered with 25 qualified families and the community to build decent, affordable houses.
