More arrests for methamphetamine
Five more people have been arrested as a result of the ongoing "Pop-A-Smurf" campaign aimed at arresting people who supply makers of illicit methamphetamine. Facing charges related to over-the-limit purchases of pseudoephedrine are Andrea Beth Howard, 22, Butler Road, Dudley; Sheila Tucker Coor, 48, Paradise Lane, Dudley; Christopher Scott Byrd, 24, Emmaus Church Road, Dudley; Randy Lee Grady, 55, North Claiborne Street; and Willie Butts, 36, Arrington Bridge Road, Dudley.
Vehicle stolen, damaged, recovered
Jason Schiller of Knollwood Drive told the Wayne County Sheriff's Office that someone stole his truck on Wednesday Tuesday morning, reports show. The GMC pickup was recovered the next morning with about $8,000 in damages, authorities said.
