Suspect kicks out windows of police car

A Goldsboro man wanted for skipping parole in New York state kicked out windows in a police cruiser and spit in a detective's face before his arrest Friday, police said.
Anthony Wright, 33, East Maple Street, was being held without bond for avoiding parole officers in New York, Investigator Dwayne Dean said.
Wright was arrested after a traffic stop in which he reportedly briefly fought police before being detained.
Then, in the patrol car, Wright moved his handcuffed hands from behind his back to the front of his body, the investigator reported in a news release.
When the transporting officers saw the movement, the vehicle was stopped.
That prompted Wright to kick out "both rear door windows and spit on Investigator (Dave) Cloutier before being brought back under control," police said in the release.
Although Wright was held without privilege of bond for New York's charges, and an additional bond of $75,000 was set for charges incurred in Goldsboro, investigators said.
Those charges included three counts of malicious conduct by a prisoner, resist, delay or obstruct a police officer and injury to real property, police said.
