Goldsboro firefighters spray water over the burning Paramount Theatre in the early morning hours of Feb. 19, 2005. Flames were shooting 30 feet in the air when the first trucks arrived from the headquarters station just a block away. Investigators still do not know what caused the century-old theater to burn, but city officials vowed before the ashes were cold that the structure would be rebuilt. That promise will be kept this weekend, when the new theater re-opens.
