Construction of the new office of the North Carolina Association of Rescue and EMS is expected to be completed in June, officials with the organization said. The new office is located on U.S. 117, about a mile south of the existing office. It will triple the amount of available space, they said, and help the association do a better job of overseeing the state’s ambulance and emergency services units. Work on the building started in December.
