The Wayne-Duplin Business and Professional Women's Club is issuing an invitation to nominate individuals to participate in the club's Young Careerist competition.
This honor is given to a woman for her personal and professional achievements.
To be eligible, the nominee must be between the ages of 21 and 35, have been employed in business or the professions with at least one full year of work experience; be living, working, training or continuing her education in Wayne or Duplin counties; and support the goals and objectives of the club and its national organization.
Participants are asked to speak on a topic related to working women and be interviewed by a panel of judges.
The competition will take place on March 6. Nominations are due by Feb. 20.
