Assault
David Earl Solomon of South John Street was injured after a man he knows hit him in the forehead with a knife handle, Solomon told Goldsboro police. Solomon obtained a felony-level warrant against Antquawn Crawford, 31, of Crawford Street, on a charge of assault inflicting serious injury, police said.
Thefts reported
*Daniel Johnson of Wayne Memorial Drive reported his side door forced in and $8,170 in goods stolen on Wednesday, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
*Natalya Kornegay of Kalmia Drive, Pikeville, reported a break-in at her home Wednesday and $2,000 in property stolen, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
*Jimmy Lee Fredrick Jr. of Whitfield Drive told Goldsboro police on Wednesday morning that his side door was kicked in and $440 in property was stolen. Investigators also found $100 in damage to Fredrick's wooden door,.
*Tomeka West of Lemon Street reported a break-in to her garage and two pit bull terrier puppies worth a total of $400 stolen, Goldsboro police said.

*Johnny Carroll Darden, 58, North John Street, assault on a female, possess Schedule II controlled substance, possess drug paraphernalia, $10,000 bond.
*Eve Pfeifer Harris, 27, Whitfield Drive, expired registration, drive while license revoked, expired inspection, $1,000 bond.

*Yolanda James Williams, 38, Adler Lane, violate court order, $300 bond.
*Latricia Daniele Smith, 41, Smith Logging Lane, eights counts passing worthless checks, $2,400 bond.
*Centale Berquan Williams, 25, East Holly STreet, file a false police report, $500 bond.

*Trucell Lavonzell Bell, 52, East Hillsboro Street, Mount Olive, failure to pay child support, $300 cash purge.
*Lisa Gentry Wiggs, 28, Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs, three counts failure to appear, $1,000 bond.
*James Earl Lassiter, 50, Memorial Church Road, Fremont, fail to pay child support, $282 cash purge.
