Kiwanis train rides Dec. 15-16

The Kiwanis Club of Goldsboro and the Key Club at Goldsboro High School will sponsor train rides on the Kiwanis train at Herman Park on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15-16, from 5-9 p.m.
The events are planned to promote reading. Children who have earned Polar Express tickets by reading the book can ride free.
Tickts will be 75 cents for all others.
Also, there will be hot cider and cocoa, treats, entertainment by Key Club members and, of course, an appearance by Santa Claus.
All proceeds will go to community charities
The county will also be sponsoring "Jingle in the Park," on Dec 8. The Kiwanis train will be running then as well.
