Break-ins

Goldsboro police say a string of break-ins on West Walnut Street, Fedelon Trail and U.S. 117 South are similar and are probably related. Two thefts were reported at Johnson Sherman Co., individual break-ins at R.N. Rouse, Coca Cola Bottling Co. and ANSCO & Associates, Investigator Dwayne Bevell said. All the thefts involved tools and all involved more than $1,000 in stolen goods. In three of the four incidents, vehicles were stolen from the businesses and abandoned in the city near the business, Bevell said. People with information, no matter how trivial, are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.
