Goldsboro Christmas Parade entries sought

The Goldsboro Jaycees' Christmas Parade will be Saturday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. in downtown Goldsboro. The theme of this year's parade will be "Polar Express." Entries are being accepted.
To participate in the parade, an entry form must be submitted to the Goldsboro Jaycees and received or postmarked by Saturday, Nov. 17.
Entries will be accepted after this date, however, a late fee will be charged. A $25 late fee will be charged for entries postmarked between Nov. 18 to Nov. 24. A $50 late fee will be assessed for entries postmarked between Nov. 25 to Nov. 28.
Entry forms and guidelines are available for pick-up at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce at 308 N. William Street and at the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation office on Walnut Street . Applications and guidelines are also available on-line at http://www.dgdc.org.
A representative from the Jaycees will also be present at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. to answer questions on Friday Nov. 16, Tuesday Nov. 20 and Wednesday November 28.
