Missing persons
*Jamika Shamone Car-michale, 15, O'Berry Center Road, was reported missing by her mother, Temeeka Honey, Thursday at 10:15 p.m. Ms. Carmichale is described as black, 4 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was first reported missing Wednesday, was located Thursday, but then jumped out of a second story window to run away again while waiting for a group home to pick her up. Her mother said she was last seen Thursday at 9:30 p.m. wearing silver earrings, gold bracelet, white shirt, black stretch pants, black hoodie and white shoes. Ms. Carmichale is not attending school at this time.
*Ebony Mequel Copeland, 24, South Audobon Avenue, was reported missing by her mother, Judy Faye Backus, on Thursday at 10:35 a.m. Ms. Copeland is described as black, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her mother said she went to pick up her other daughter, and when she returned, Ms. Copeland was missing. She added that Ms. Copeland didn't take clothes or her driver's license with her. Her mother said she was last seen on Saturday at 9 p.m. wearing a purple shirt, dark blue jeans, black slip-ons and hoop earrings.
Assault reported
A 16-year-old reported being assaulted Friday evening as he walked home from a football game at Goldsboro High School, police said. Quentin White said five black males jumped him and assaulted him around 9:45 p.m. and one male he knew punched him in the nose, police said. After White fell to the ground, the other males started to kick him, police said.
Thefts
*Karen Marie King Peter-son, 37, East Walnut Street, reported someone used her 2002 tan Buick LeSabre without permission, valued at $4,500.
*Goldsboro Honda and Hyundai on West Grantham Street reported a 2007 blue Hyundai Elantra stolen, valued at $16,800. The car was last seen Sept. 13.
*Jason Carey, 33, Simons Street, reported someone stole his 1997 white Chevy Blazer, valued at $3,800.
*Creative Sewing and Vacuum Center on North Berkeley Boulevard reported someone broke into the business and stole $60. Damages were valued at $1,600.
*Kenneth Wayne Outlaw, 34, Willard Lane, Dudley, reported someone broke into his home and stole a cigar box containing currency and coins, valued at $1,000. Damages to the home were valued at $40.
