Chili Cook-Off downtown Saturday

The Chili Cook-Off to raise money for the Community Soup Kitchen is drawing near, with a number of teams already preparing their secret recipes, hoping to take home the top prize.
The event will be held Saturday in the Center Street Jam parking lot.
The teams will be judged for best tasting chili -- first, second and third place -- and for best team name, best chili name and best decorated booth.
The public can sample the entries from at 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., with adult cost $5 and children eating for $3.
