Wayne County commissioners meet Tuesday

The Wayne County Board of Commissioners isn't expected to take any action, but nonetheless, members will be hearing from public library Director Jane Rustin about her facility and operating needs at their Tuesday meeting.
"We're looking at a larger library in the north, a larger library in the south and the expansion of this (Goldsboro) facility," she said. "We just want to go in with some (construction and operating) costs and what we call the return on investment for the community."
The commissioners also will hold a 9:15 a.m. public hearing on a request to change the name of a portion Nahunta Road to Hoss Lane. Dead-ending on both ends, the road is located north of the intersection of Nahunta Road and Hinnant Road.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m., with a briefing session at 8 in commissioners' courthouse chambers.
