Business seminars scheduled

The Business and Industry Center of Wayne Community College has scheduled a series of free seminars to prepare the business person to meet the ever increasing challenges facing small business.
The seminars include:
*Start and Grow Your Business with Expert Advice and a Loan, Vu Donie, 6-8 p.m., Mondays, through Nov. 5.
*Introduction to Grant Writing for Nonprofits, Dorothy Moore, Tuesday, Sept. 25, 6-9 p.m.
*Create a Winning Business Plan, Mike Collins, Wednesday, Sept. 26, 6-9 p.m.
*The Top Traits of Highly Effective Women, Barnsley Brown, Thursday, Oct. 4, 1-4 p.m.
*Double Your Contacts! Double Your Income!, Barnsley Brown, Thursday, Oct 4, 6-9 p.m.
*Send the Complainer Away Happy, Kathy Sprau, Tuesday, Oct. 16, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
*Financial Keys to Winning in Business, LaVone Hicks, Thursday, Oct. 18, 6-8 p.m.
*Spanish for Tax Preparers, Carlos Cotto, Tuesday, Oct. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; preregister and pay the $38.55 book cost by Oct. 5.
*Stress Management, Mike Herring, Thursday, Nov. 1, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
*Basic Bookkeeping and Taxes for Small Business, Jess McLamb, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 6-9 p.m.
*Dealing with Difficult People, Mike Collins, Thursday, Nov. 15, 9 a.m.-noon.
All seminars will be held in Room 101 in Walnut Building.
