Golf tournament benefit planned for Kitty Askins

The annual Kitty Askins Golf Tournament will be Sept. 27 at the Walnut Creek Country Club.
Proceeds will benefit the Kitty Askins expansion fund.
The four-player superball event will have shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., entry fees are $100 for one player and $400 for a team. Hole sponsorships are available for $150 and $550 and flag pin sponsorships are available for $700.
The donation includes green fees, cart fees, hole-in-one contest, lunch and prizes. The event is being sponsored by Sportsman's World, Quizno's and BB&T Insur-ance.
Shirts with a collar are required and no jeans are permitted.
