Stabbings
A 14-year-old girl and 19-year-old Yondra Gen'a were stabbed at their home in the 800 block of Isler Street during an argument. The suspect identified as John Green Jr., 67, of the same address, was charged. Both victims were taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not considered life threatening, Goldsboro police said.
Investigations
Wayne County and Goldsboro law enforcement officers are investigating these reports:
*Heather Lynn Fields said someone broke into her home in the 100 block of Hines Drive and stole a 20-inch flat screen television, purse and other items, all valued at $210.
*Benjamin Charles Claiborne said someone stole two Yahama motorcycles, all valued at $2,000, from his home in the 500 block of Nor Am Road, Pikeville.
*Someone broke into Love Memorial Baptist Church at 192 Woodland Church Road and stole a 3-disc CD changer system, a DVD player, 36 cans of soft drinks, snacks and a softball bag, all valued at $189.
