Wayne Christian arts camps scheduled

Wayne Christian School is offering several fine arts camps, with the theme "Using Fine Arts to Glorify God."
To register, parents should come by the school office on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 9 a.m and 3 p.m., or call the school office at 735-5605 and ask for a brochure to be mailed.
These are the camps that will be offered:
*Elementary Art Camp: June 11-15, 9:15 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Cost: $50. "Exploring The Old Testament Tabernacle." Children will use a variety of techniques to appreciate the beauty and symbolism of the tabernacle. Open to children entering grades 2-5 in the fall.
*Secondary Art Camp: June 11-15, 9 a.m. until noon. Cost: $75. The focus of the camp will be to help students prepare art pieces for competition in the Wayne County Fair, and also for competition in the American Christian Schools International Art Festival.
*7th-12th Grade Music Camp: June 18-22 1-4 p.m. Cost: $60. This camp will provide students the opportunity to strengthen musical skills and knowledge and will focus on the development of both individual and choral skills. Students will be taught how to match pitch, follow rhythm, and read music.
