Car seat check set for Saturday

A car seat safety check is set for Saturday as part of the Born Learning Children's Festival, which will take place at Wayne County Public Library and in Herman Park from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Wayne County Safe Kids through the Partnership for Children of Wayne County is hosting the check in the library parking lot, with certified child passenger safety technicians on hand. Other safety-related exhibits include a Spot the Tot demonstration and DUI simulator.
Participants in the car seat check up are eligible to register for a drawing for free car seats at 2 p.m. in the Park House at Herman Park.
Other activities during the day will include fire trucks, Buster the School Bus, free train rides, storytelling sessions led by Curious George and Madeline, a petting zoo, moonwalks, live music and refreshments.
